Pathways to study at the University of the Sunshine Coast You can start your study at our English Language Centre, which offers Academic English preparation as part of the Direct Entry English Pathway (DEEP). With DEEP, if you satisfy the course requirements, you gain direct entry to the University’s degree and Study Abroad programs without doing an external exam, such as TOEFL or IELTS. The University also has a number of credit transfer arrangements with overseas universities and colleges, as well as TAFE and VET colleges in Australia Location Australia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast is in the state of Queensland. The University of the Sunshine Coast is located only one hour by car from both the state capital, Brisbane, and the International Airport. From Brisbane there are train and bus connections to the University. The campus is located approximately 10 kilometres from the Sunshine Coast’s famous beaches. There are regular bus services from the campus to the beaches and major shopping centres. The Mooloolah River National Park adjoins the University’s 100 hectare campus, providing a sanctuary for native flora and fauna in the area. Wild kangaroos reside on campus, and the natural beauty of the campus and surrounding area create a low stress environment conducive to study. Major centres, such as Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and Noosa, are between 15 and 40 minutes drive away giving you access to all the Coast has to offer: famous surfing beaches, international cuisine, shopping centres, and nightlife.
